Warriors Compete in VEX Robotics Competition

Washington Warriors Compete in VEX Robotics Competition

On January 23rd, 2016, a team of 18 Warrior 4th and 5th graders participated for the first time in a VEX robotics competition at Palos Verdes High School. For the past several months, the students, parents and their coach, Gabriel Cabrera built and programmed to robots for the competition. The students met at lunch, after school at home with their teammates. The students programmed and controlled the robots to perform tasks on a game board to score points. We are very proud of each students’ determination and team work at the competition. Our warriors showed true collaboration and critical thinking as they controlled their robots in the various events. Congratulations to the students, parents, and Mr. Cabrera for their groundbreaking efforts!
