About Me
My name is Gabriel Cabrera and I teach 5th grade at Washington. I have been in our district since 2006, teaching 5th grade among others. After receiving my B.A., Credential, and Masters in Education at Azusa Pacific University, I spent two years teaching in an Autism class at a Non-Public School before working in San Gabriel. I have a multiple subject credential for elementary school and a single subject credential to teach social science in any grade. My goal is to have real-life elements seen in the products of the classroom to make learning more relevant to the students. I also love sports, so I try to incorporate them into lessons whenever I can. My wife and I are blessed to have two sons, and we live in the San Gabriel Valley.
