Welcome Back BBQ - A Golden Success

On Friday, August 19th, hundreds of families attended our annual Welcome Back BBQ. After eating, kids had the opportunity to participate in Washington Olympic games and earn gold medals. Thank-you to our wonderful PTA for sponsoring this event!

Music Lessons at Jefferson Middle School

Saturday Conservatory of Music provides low-cost, comprehensive music education to school aged children, from 4- to 20-years-old. Our 3-part package program includes a small group lesson, a music theory class, and an ensemble. We've taught LA area children for 50 years and are now located at Jefferson Middle School in San Gabriel. We meet on Saturday mornings from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Photo Enforcement Coming Soon

In order to provide a safe traffic environment at Washington, the San Gabriel Police Department will begin using a still camera to photograph vehicular violations as they occur. Please click on the title of this article for a flyer with more information.

Student Artwork and Talents Showcased at ARTFest

On Friday, May 13th, our students showcased their artistic and musical talents at the annual Washington ARTFest. Thank you to the ARTFest committee, parent volunteers, and Gabrielino Interact volunteers for making this wonderful event happen!

Warriors Compete in VEX Robotics Competition

On January 23rd, 2016, a team of 18 Warrior 4th and 5th graders participated for the first time in a VEX robotics competition at Palos Verdes High School. We are very proud of each students’ determination and team work at the competition. Our warriors showed true collaboration and critical thinking as they controlled their robots in the various events. Congratulations to the students, parents, and Mr. Cabrera for their groundbreaking efforts!
